Our Therapeutic Approach
Integrative, Mind-Body Focused, Personalized
Healing isn’t just about changing thoughts or behaviors — it’s also about learning to feel safe and connected within your body.
At Grow & Well, our approach integrates mind-body awareness, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapy. We help clients slow down, notice what’s happening inside, and build tools for regulation and connection.
Whether you are navigating perinatal challenges, the lingering effects of trauma, or relationship stress, therapy at Grow & Well is a collaborative and personalized process that supports your whole self - mind, body, and the nervous system.
Are you ready to come home to your self?

Somatic Approach
At Grow & Well, we draw from somatic therapy and polyvagal-informed practices to help you reconnect with your body’s natural capacity for healing. We also integrate EMDR therapy, an evidence-based yet deeply body-aware approach that supports the nervous system’s natural ability to heal from trauma.
Together, we explore how your body holds experiences, how your nervous system responds to stress, and how you can cultivate greater safety and connection. We also help the body (and mind) reprocess difficult experiences in a safe, regulated way.
These body-based approaches help you move beyond insight alone — into a felt sense of calm, connection, and presence.

Evidence-Based “Mind” Tools
While body-based awareness is at the heart of Grow & Well, we also integrate evidence-based frameworks to support practical growth.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps bring clarity to unhelpful thought patterns and strengthen emotional awareness.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) offers skills for mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps the brain and body reprocess distressing experiences and restore a sense of calm and integration.
Gottman Method principles guide our couples’ work, helping partners repair trust, communicate effectively, and nurture shared meaning.
These tools are woven into our sessions as needed — always grounded in somatic and relational awareness, never as one-size-fits-all techniques.

Trauma-Informed & Attachment-Aware
Our work is rooted in trauma-informed principles — emphasizing safety, choice, and collaboration at every step.
We also draw from attachment theory to help clients understand how early experiences shape patterns of connection and disconnection.
Whether we’re working with perinatal challenges, relationship difficulties, or past trauma, therapy focuses on helping your nervous system feel supported, not pressured.
Therapy at Grow & Well is collaborative, gentle, and paced to match your nervous system’s capacity.
We begin by building awareness and safety, then explore patterns and experiences that may be held in the body. We also build resources and tools to help you regulate emotions more effectively, while reprocess distressing experiences and restore a sense of calm and integration. Over time, you’ll have a greater capacity to manage your emotions and distressing experiences, connect more deeply with yourself and others, and move toward the life you want to live — with greater presence and embodiment.
