Our Therapeutic Approach
Integrative, Mind-Body Focused, Personalized
Healing isn’t just about changing thoughts or behaviors — it’s also about learning to feel safe and connected with your body.
At Grow & Well, our approach integrates mind-body awareness, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based therapy. We help clients create space to listen inward, understand their body’s cues, and build tools for regulation and connection.
Whether you are navigating the lingering effects of trauma, relationship stress, perinatal challenges, or others, therapy at Grow & Well is a collaborative and personalized process that supports your whole self - mind, body, and the nervous system.
Are you ready to come home to yourself?
NO. 1
Somatic Approach
At Grow & Well, we draw from somatic therapy and polyvagal-informed practices to help you reconnect with your body’s natural capacity for healing. We also integrate EMDR therapy, an evidence-based, mind–body approach that works directly with the nervous system to support deep, lasting change.
Together, we explore how your body carries past experiences, how your nervous system responds to stress, and how you can cultivate greater safety, resilience, and connection. Through this work, the brain and body can reprocess difficult or overwhelming experiences in a way that feels supported and manageable.
These body-based approaches help you go beyond insight alone, supporting a deeper sense of calm, grounding, and embodied presence.

Evidence-Based Approaches
While body-based awareness is at the heart of Grow & Well, we also draw on evidence-based frameworks that support clarity, skill-building, and meaningful change.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) helps identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, strengthening emotional understanding and insight.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provides practical tools for mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and improving communication.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) supports the brain and nervous system in reprocessing distressing experiences, fostering integration and relief.
Gottman Method principles guide our couples’ work, helping partners repair trust, communicate more effectively, and deepen their sense of connection and shared meaning.
These approaches are integrated thoughtfully and collaboratively, tailored to your needs and aligned with a somatic and relational foundation.

Trauma-Informed & Attachment-Aware
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed care, prioritizing safety, choice, and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.
We also draw on attachment theory to explore how early experiences shape current patterns of connection, protection, and relating to others.
Whether we’re addressing trauma, perinatal challenges, relationship stress, or others, we focus on supporting your nervous system in a way that feels steady and gentle.
Therapy at Grow & Well is collaborative, gentle, and paced to match your nervous system’s capacity.
We begin by cultivating awareness and a sense of safety, then explore patterns and experiences that may be held in the body. Together, we build resources and tools to help you regulate emotions, reprocess distressing experiences, and restore a sense of calm and integration.
Over time, our work together strengthens your capacity to navigate emotions and challenging experiences, connect more deeply with yourself and others, and move toward the life you want — with greater presence and embodiment.
